Changing Lives, One Student at a Time
28th April 2026 – Uasin Gishu, Kenya - It is our commitment as a Foundation to transform lives through education. We believe that education is the greatest equalizer, and today, that belief has become a reality for one deserving student.

Across Kenya, education remains a critical stepping stone for young people, yet many households continue to face financial barriers that limit their children’s chances of staying in school. In rural and low-income communities, families often struggle to afford school requirements such as uniforms, books, transport, and fees. These challenges leave many bright students at risk of delayed enrollment or dropping out, not because of a lack of potential, but simply due to circumstances beyond their control. This is the reality that compels us to run, running for a purpose as our motto states: to support vulnerable learners and keep their dreams alive.
Our team visited Nukiat Village in Ziwa, Soy Sub-County in Uasin Gishu County, where we had the privilege of supporting Dorothy Akiru, a bright young girl from a humble background. Dorothy sat for her Grade 9 examination last year at Nukiat Primary School and earned a place in Grade 10 at the junior secondary level. Unfortunately, due to financial constraints, she had been unable to attend school for the past four months.
Today, through God’s grace and the generosity of our partners, the Foundation has awarded Dorothy a full scholarship covering Grades 10, 11, and 12. With the help of Madam Ruth Kogo, who identified Dorothy’s situation, the Foundation successfully secured her admission to Chepkigen High School.

Pens and pencils
Dorothy is now ready to begin school tomorrow—carrying not only new supplies but also renewed hope and a brighter future.
